Root Seal Plus 20 Gr

- Root seal plus is a powder and liquid root canal sealer that is based on zinc oxide eugenol formula rich in a  blend of calcium.

- It provides excellent seal, anti bacterial, anti-flamatory and radiopaque properties.

-  Indication: 

- For sealing of prepared root canals in the step of root canal treatment.

-  Application: 

- Mix powder and corresponding liquid. 

- Recommended powder liquid ratio is 2.5:1 at normal room temperature 20-25 "C.

- Start with small increments of powder then add the rest in an incremental manner.

- Mixing time is approximately 45 seconds and setting time 6 minutes.

- After mixing apply to prepared root canal using recommended instrument and apply to the Master cone and/or accessory points of gutta-percha or other obturating material.

- Working time is 10 to 15 minutes .

-  Caution: 

- Not to be used directly under composite or light curing restoration.

- Because eugenol will inhibit and prolong setting of these materials.

-  Side Effect: 

- Side effects are extremely rare.

- Patients may experience some unpleasant taste.

- However , this is usually a temporary sensation that will disappear after rinsing.
